The KidSport™ “Sports Skills Are Life Skills” campaign has launched across the province on television, radio, and online. You are invited to attend the official campaign launch on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 10:00am, on the lawn of the Vancouver Art Gallery. B.C. athletes, members of the British Columbia Association of Broadcasters (BCAB), dignitaries, and national and provincial media will be attending the campaign launch.
Four media teams will compete in total, including media personalities from TSN, The Shore 104, Global TV, Team 1040, CTV, 99.3 The Fox, 24 Hours, CBC, The Beat 94.5 FM and social media experts Miss604.com and Steve Jagger.
The campaign was made possible by the British Columbia Association of Broadcasters (BCAB) Humanitarian Award. The award offers KidSport™ $3 million worth of donated radio and television airtime.
